Minecraft x Smiggle Collaboration goes All Green to grab attention from fans from both brands.

In order to maximise the visual impact of the campaign, the iconic Green from Minecraft is used to take over Smiggle from in-store to online collateral.

3D design elements and perspectivesare introduced throughout the store such as floor decal and A-frame topper, in order to invite audience to the Minecraft scape.

All design collateral is crafted using the yardages from the product design team and the various style guides from Minecraft. For instance, we came up the idea of “falling into the Minecraft world” and thus a “void” on the ground is made to encourage kids to take photos with it and share on social Media.

The design is all drawn from scratch including warping the pattern and characters as well as creating the shadows and depth. Besides, we made sure that we respected the rules of our license partner Minecraft and the game itself by following their “grid system” when creating all pixel assets and post-editing the photos.
