— Participated attendant or interested parties will get a photo taken as they arrive; and I will draw throughout the event. All illustration will be beautifully displayed on the table so they can grab the keepsake at the end of the session

FAQs

Live illustration is an in-the-moment art experience created during weddings and premium brand events. Guests are illustrated on-site in real time, with each artwork capturing their presence, outfit and energy. My illustration style is modern and minimal, focused on elegance, movement and quiet details rather than exaggeration.
My goal is to translate the atmosphere of the event and the individuality of each guest into a timeless keepsake. At weddings, it becomes a meaningful interaction and a personalised gift guests genuinely cherish. For brand activations, it encourages brand exposure, creates engagement and ultimately increases customers loyalty, while aligning seamlessly with a luxury aesthetic and your brand identity.
On the day of the event, I'll set up a dedicated illustration station within the venue as per discussed. Guests are welcome to approach at their leisure, where I’ll take a quick reference photo before beginning their illustration. Finished pieces are beautifully displayed at the table as a personalised keepsake for guests to collect.
I usually arrive earlier than the scheduled session to start interacting and photographing guests or key moments in advance. This allows me to begin illustrating as soon as the session starts, ensuring a smooth flow and enabling more guests to be illustrated throughout the event.
It takes approximately 6-10 mins each depending on the complexity of the drawing as well as the number of people I am illustrating.

Absolutely! Templates can be fully tailored to the theme of your big day. This can include a custom logo, your initials, and your wedding date, whichever best reflects your celebration. If you already have a logo, it can be incorporated to seamlessly match the rest of your wedding stationery.
This is entirely flexible. I’m happy to be set up in a quiet corner or positioned under a spotlight, anywhere works best for your space. For outdoor events, adequate shelter is required and access to a power outlet would be ideal.

Backed by 15 years of classical training and 10+ years of design experience, you can feel confident knowing every detail is handled with care, where connection and craftsmanship are valued. My warm and bubbly presence will also keep the atmosphere fun and relaxed. :)

About Ives, your Live Event Illustrator

While Ives has been classically trained for 15+ years, her very first live illustration experience happened at the 2019 RMIT Open Day, where she was invited to welcome onboarding students through quick, heartfelt sketches. She also got to illustrate along escalators and a window piece in front of Student Life’s Shop as the event went on.

Ives worked as an in-house designer for the past 10 years, refining her craft
and deepening her love for thoughtful, intentional arts.
